I’m happy to announce that I am going to be doing a select few elopement photoshoots in Denver this year and beyond. Full on wedding photos are not really my jam anymore, but I love working with couples and getting to capture their special day when it’s just the two of them. I recently got to work with Natalia and Allen, capturing their elopement photos in Denver near the courthouse and Red Rocks. Natalia booked a two hour photo session with me and we split the time between the courthouse and Red Rocks to get some beautiful nature shots. I love this idea because you get a little mix of urban and nature all in one photoshoot, something you might not get if it was a full on wedding.
The Denver Courthouse actually has some pretty cool things to use for elopement photos in Denver. There are some awesome sculptures and the new courthouse has some cool reflections and views of the downtown skyline. The old courthouse, which is just a block away, has steps and big columns that offer a unique look for elopement photos. Natalia is a lawyer and she wanted to capture that vibe of an old school courthouse.
We then drove over to Red Rocks, which is one of my favorite spots near Denver for photos. It offers a unique landscape and beautiful views of the mountains. Red Rocks is great for pretty much any photoshoot… high school senior photos, family photos, engagement photos, and elopement photos. Natalia and Allen killed it with their outfits and the bride and groom looked so good with Red Rocks as the backdrop.
