I recently had the pleasure of working with Warner Music Group to photograph an intimate event they held at the Ramble Hotel in Denver. Warner Music Group Nashville hosted this event with some of their up and coming artists to introduce key radio programmers to their music (and ultimately to schmooze them into playing their songs). They do these Private Artists Showcases every so often around the country and they held the Denver event at the Ramble Hotel in RiNo.
This was one of the best corporate event photography sessions I’ve done as it allowed me to be up close and personal with country music artists as well as Warner Music executives (including the Warner Nashville CEO John Esposito). Blake Shelton is also part of Warner Nashville but unfortunately did not make it.
The artists that performed were Gabby Barrett, Tucker Beathard, and Trea Landon. They were awesome! They were super friendly and welcoming and allowed me to get some great photos of them. Being the photographer allows me to interact with people I probably normally would be too shy to go up and start a conversation with. I love that about photography!
The Ramble Hotel is one of the hottest new places in town and I have gotten several requests from clients to do photoshoots here. Unfortunately, they have a very strict policy on photoshoots and usually require a lot of jumping through hoops (and money) to get a permit to do any kind of commercial photography here. So getting to do corporate event photography at the Ramble Hotel was a special treat for me.
