FOR BRANDS IN MOTION

My work focuses on brand activations, experiential marketing, influencer campaigns, sponsorships, hospitality experiences, and major events where the goal is bigger than simply documenting what happened. It is about creating authentic, high-energy photography that shows what it actually felt like to be there.

I’ve spent the last several years working alongside major brands, agencies, producers, influencers, athletes, and talent at events across the country. From Michelob ULTRA activations surrounding the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, PGA TOUR events, and the Ryder Cup to Super Bowl weekend with Verizon, I’m comfortable stepping into large productions, moving with the team, and creating content that can immediately go to work across social media, PR, digital marketing, sponsorship recaps, and future campaigns.

Based in Colorado and available nationwide.

PHOTOGRAPHY BUILT FOR THE WAY BRANDS MARKET NOW

The best brand photography doesn’t always look like an advertisement.

People want to see real experiences, real personalities, and moments that feel authentic. That is where my style fits naturally.

I combine lifestyle photography with documentary event coverage to create images that feel polished without looking overly produced. That might mean following a group of influencers through New York during marathon weekend, skiing alongside talent in Park City, working inside a hospitality experience at a major golf tournament, or documenting a packed Super Bowl activation from the fan experience during the day through celebrity performances late into the night.

The goal is always the same: make the brand visible while keeping the experience real.

YEARS OF BRAND ACTIVATION WORK WITH MICHELOB ULTRA

One of the biggest parts of my brand activation work has been my ongoing relationship with Michelob ULTRA.

Over the last several years, I’ve served as a lead photographer across major ULTRA events and activations around the country, documenting campaigns connected to some of the biggest moments in sports and culture.

That work has included activations surrounding the 2026 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup 2026, the Ryder Cup, THE PLAYERS Championship, Super Bowl weekend, NBA All-Star Weekend, the New York City Marathon, and other PGA and sporting events.

Each activation is different, which is one of the things I enjoy most about this work. Some assignments are centered around influencers and creators. Others are focused on hospitality, fan engagement, sponsorship visibility, sports, or a full weekend of experiences.

I’ve learned how to work quickly inside large productions while still paying attention to the small moments that make an activation feel human.

Commercial Lifestyle Photography

INFLUENCER & CREATOR CAMPAIGNS

A big part of my work with brands involves photographing influencers, creators, celebrities, and athletes in a way that feels natural rather than staged.

For Michelob ULTRA, that has meant spending full weekends embedded with talent and documenting the experience as it unfolds.

During the ULTRA Summit in Park City, for example, I followed a group of influencers and personalities including Joey Graziadei, Kelsey Anderson, Tyler Cameron, Camille Kostek, Justin Glaze, and others through a winter weekend celebrating Team USA and the Olympic spirit.

The group skied Park City Mountain, spent time at après ski events, explored Park City, and eventually headed up the mountain for a private Kygo concert at Red Pine Lodge.

My job was not simply to photograph the scheduled events. I was there to create a complete visual story of the experience, from the big branded moments to the candid interactions between them.

That same approach has taken me to New York City with Team ULTRA during the NYC Marathon, where the weekend included dinners, shakeout runs, race-day coverage, and post-race celebrations.

For influencer marketing, those in-between moments are often just as valuable as the hero shots.

SPORTS, SPONSORSHIPS & HOSPITALITY

Sports have become a major part of my brand activation work.

I’ve photographed brand experiences connected to golf, football, running, basketball, soccer, and the Olympics, working in environments where the brand experience and the sporting event are happening simultaneously.

At THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass, I photographed Michelob ULTRA’s hospitality experience at The Deck overlooking holes 16 and 18. The assignment included the branded environment, fans enjoying the experience, hospitality details, sponsor visibility, and the energy surrounding one of the biggest events on the PGA TOUR.

Projects like this require an understanding of both sides of the assignment.

The sporting event matters, but the brand’s presence within that environment matters just as much.

My job is to come away with images that show both.

SUPER BOWL WEEKEND WITH VERIZON

During Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, I photographed House of Verizon, a multi-day brand activation produced in partnership with 160over90.

The experience changed throughout the weekend. During the day, the space was built around Verizon customers, football fans, NFL personalities, local businesses, branded experiences, and community.

Other moments brought together fashion, music, celebrities, and entertainment, including a showcase with Kristin Juszczyk and Lainey Wilson and nighttime performances from artists including Doechii, T-Pain, and Jermaine Dupri.

The photography needed to capture all of it.

Wide images established the scale of the activation. Details showed the branding and production. Candid images captured fans and guests actually experiencing the space. Portraits and performance photography documented talent and cultural moments happening throughout the weekend.

That ability to move between styles quickly is a huge part of successful brand activation photography.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR WHEN I SHOOT

There is a lot happening at a major activation, and great coverage is about understanding what matters to the brand as much as knowing how to use a camera.

I’m constantly looking for the balance between brand visibility and genuine moments.

I want the logos, products, signage, environments, and sponsor integrations to be clear, but I also want people actually interacting with them. I’m watching for talent looking relaxed, fans engaging with the experience, small candid moments between scheduled events, energy in the crowd, and details that help tell the complete story.

I also think about how the photography is going to be used.

That means intentionally creating a mix of wide environmental images, tight details, vertical content for social media, horizontal images for web and PR, portraits of talent, candid lifestyle photography, and the big moments everyone knows need to be captured.

The final gallery should give your marketing team options.

EXPERIENCED WITH TALENT. EASY WITH PEOPLE.

Working with influencers and talent requires a different approach than traditional event photography.

Sometimes there are five minutes to make something happen. Sometimes plans change completely. Sometimes the best photograph comes from giving people space instead of directing them.

I’m comfortable jumping in when direction is needed and disappearing into the background when it isn’t.

My portrait and personal branding background is a big advantage here. I spend a huge part of my career working one-on-one with people and know how to quickly make someone comfortable in front of a camera.

That translates extremely well when an activation needs both event coverage and strong lifestyle portraits of the people involved.

BUILT FOR AGENCY & BRAND TEAMS

Large productions move fast.

Schedules change. Talent moves. Lighting changes. Locations change. Deliverables evolve while the activation is happening.

I’m used to working alongside producers, creative teams, social teams, publicists, brand managers, and other photographers and videographers without adding unnecessary friction to the production.

Give me the priorities, the must-have shots, the brand guidelines, and the schedule, and I can work independently while staying aware of what the larger team needs.

I also understand that speed matters.

If something incredible happens tonight, the social team may want photos tomorrow morning, not two weeks from now. Rapid selects and expedited delivery can be built into the project when real-time marketing and social content are part of the campaign.

BRAND ACTIVATION PHOTOGRAPHY CAN INCLUDE

Influencer and creator campaigns. Experiential marketing events. Sports sponsorships. Brand hospitality. VIP experiences. Product integrations. Festival activations. Fan experiences. Pop-ups. Press events. Launch events. Social media campaigns. Celebrity and talent coverage. Lifestyle photography. Corporate retreats and brand trips. Concerts and entertainment. Behind-the-scenes content.

Every activation is different, which is exactly why I enjoy photographing them.

MORE THAN EVENT DOCUMENTATION

Traditional event photography answers the question:

What happened?

Brand activation photography also needs to answer:

What did the brand create? Who experienced it? How did people interact with it? What did it feel like? And what images will make someone wish they had been there?

That is the difference I bring to this work.

I’m documenting the event, but I’m also thinking like a lifestyle photographer and content creator.

The result is a gallery that works beyond the recap.

BASED IN COLORADO. AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE.

I’m based in the Denver area, but a large portion of my brand activation work happens on the road.

New York. New Orleans. Florida. Utah. Major sporting events. Brand trips. Multi-day influencer experiences.

If the activation takes your team somewhere interesting, I’m probably interested in going there too.

Travel is a normal part of this work, and I’m comfortable joining a production for a single event or staying embedded with the team across multiple days.

LET’S CREATE SOMETHING PEOPLE WANT TO BE PART OF

If you’re an agency, brand, producer, or marketing team planning an activation, influencer campaign, sponsorship experience, or major event, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Tell me where we’re going, what you’re creating, who will be there, and what the images need to accomplish.

I’ll take it from there.

Meet Your Photographer

I quit my $80K a year job in corporate finance to pursue a more creative and fulfilling life and now I get to work with people and companies who are doing amazing things and carving out their own place in this world. The outdoors is what first drew me into photography, shooting landscapes, mountain biking, rock climbing, and anything else that caught my eye. But my career in finance slowly ate away at my soul and photography took a back seat while I attempted to climb the corporate ladder.

So in 2016, I went from a Fortune 500 company to running my own business, shooting everything from tinder headshots, families, weddings, NBA players, corporate executives, and 80's cover bands. I truly love what I do and am so lucky I get to call myself a photographer.
