I had the pleasure of working with Denver musician Sophie Gray, creating work for her new single, her social media, and for her website. Sophie was awesome and she did an amazing job with the photoshoot. We did our shoot at RAW Photographic studio where I am a resident Denver photographer and it worked perfectly for what she was looking for.

I’ve been doing more and more photoshoots in-studio and loving it for the winter months in Denver when temps are cold and most of the plants outside are brown and bare. Studio photoshoots can create crisp, clean images for your personal brand.

Covid-19 Update: In-door studio photoshoots are expected to resume beginning May 9th, although I recommend doing photoshoots outdoors if we can.

I had a ton of fun with Sophie’s shoot as we got to you some fun pops of color to get some different looks. Sophie wanted a pink background for one of her looks and we were able use pink seamless background to achieve that. We also used colored gels to add some additional color to her looks. Some of this was planned but a lot of it was just going with the flow and seeing what works and that’s how I like to shoot. Everyone is different and it takes a little bit of time to figure out personality and wardrobe to see what’s working and what’s not.
